The following is a complete listing of the tombstones in the Piland Cemetery in Gates County, NC.
Location Off of highway 37, three quarters of a mile south from Buckland School, then approximately three quarters of a mile west on southwest of corner cleared field (shelterbelt to left) approximately 30 feet into the wooded area in the southwest corner under an old oak tree, just before coming to the Hackley swamp. It is behind Gussie (Piland) Gary home.
Several people have stated that Horace Piland and Ophelia Piland are also buried there.
